It is always difficult writing a blog after Jade has written one, hers have pictures and are much more exciting to read! But I will do what I can. Today we had a major breakthrough on the app! A problem that we had been stuck with for a while was overcome! It turns out a few fresh ideas on solutions were needed and one of them worked.
I have also been compiling some reports on our affiliate network, we have an ever growing number of affiliates now and it is important for us to check that they are suitable to be associated with us. We also like to check on the performance of affiliates and see if there is anything we can do to improve it.
So we go to a short easter break now, made mandatory by royal mail taking bank holidays.

 So Happy Easter! normal service resumes Tuesday the 10th of April!

Sparks Charity Card

We were recently approached by Sparks Charity for children's health to create a card design which we could donate to the fantastic people who have been raising money for Sparks in the upcoming London Marathon!

We always love to help out Charities here at HelloTurtle.com and we aren't far off now from launching our sites for Dance Aid and Hope for Children!

We'll keep you updated on those but for now you can take a look at the design which we came up with for Sparks below!

So summer has ended - or at least it feels that way after the warmest march for 50 years and then some snow in april! But really we are just getting towards Easter - meaning Easter sunday is now only 4 days away! Everybody will be getting that Friday feeling tomorrow - because of that bank holiday, so we have been working extra hard today on the app to compensate. After set backs earlier in the week I have been lending my services again and we have some possible solutions for the last little bits.

Today I have been busy tidying up our development site. Over time we have changed so much that there is a lot of code that we no longer use, removing it will make it easier to find the code we want to work on in the future! Looking through the files I dont usually touch I did find one or two little bits that may have caused problems - So I fixed those as well!
Its nearly Easter - with Easter sunday kicking off on the 8th of April, dont forget the bank holidays are upon us on the 6th of April and 9th of April - so we will be unable to post your cards on those 2 days, that means you have until 2pm Thursday to get your orders in for Easter Sunday.

So another week without Sam has rolled round - and the monday morning tasks take twice as long! But I have still had some time to work on the site. I tidied the Order History page up further (it shouldnt make a visual change - but the code is much more efficient), and fixed a potential problem with reordering cards. (If you attempted it before you may have ended up paying too much).
Easter is this weekend - and its a bank holiday on Friday - So be sure to have ordered your easter cards by Thursday!
